Installing Pickscan for WooCommerce

Pickscan for WooCommerce is delivered as a WordPress plugin. You install it from the WordPress admin like any other plugin.

Requirements

• A WordPress site running WooCommerce.
• An admin account for the WordPress site.
• Your Pickscan plugin .zip file (contact support@smartcode.co.uk if you don't have it yet).

Install steps

1. Log into your WordPress admin (https://yoursite.com/wp-admin).
2. From the left-hand menu, go to Plugins → Add New.
3. Click Upload Plugin at the top of the page.
4. Click Choose File and select the Pickscan plugin .zip file.
5. Click Install Now.
6. When the install completes, click Activate Plugin.

Opening Pickscan

Once activated, a Pickscan menu item appears in the WordPress admin sidebar. Click it to open the Pickscan dashboard and start the setup.

What happens next

The first time you open Pickscan, the dashboard shows a two-step onboarding with a progress bar: Create your first user and Connect your device. Follow the setup wizard guide to complete both steps.
