Managing devices in Pickscan

Devices page overview

The Devices page shows all Android devices and pack stations connected to your Pickscan account. A summary strip at the top shows:

• Active mobile apps — devices currently in use.
• Active pack stations — browser-based packing stations currently in use.
• Offline > 24h — devices that have not been active in over 24 hours.
• Fleet — total device count with a breakdown of mobile and pack station types.

Each device appears in a table with its name, type (Handheld or Pack station), activation code, status, and last activity.

Add a device

1. Open the Devices page

   In Pickscan, go to Devices.

2. Click Add New Device

   A modal appears with a 6-digit Device Code.

3. Enter the code on the Android device

   Open the Pickscan mobile app, then enter the 6-digit code. The device connects to your account.

The device appears in the table with a status of Not initialised until the mobile app connects for the first time. Once connected, the status changes to Active.

Rename a device

1. Find the device

   Locate the device in the table on the Devices page.

2. Open the menu

   Click the three-dot menu on the device row and select Rename.

3. Enter a new name

   Type a name (up to 100 characters) and click Rename.

Delete a device

1. Find the device

   Locate the device in the table on the Devices page.

2. Open the menu

   Click the three-dot menu on the device row and select Delete.

3. Confirm deletion

   Click Delete Device to confirm. This action cannot be undone.

Device limits

Each Pickscan plan has a maximum number of devices. The current limits are:

Bronze	1
Silver	5
Gold	10
Platinum	25
Diamond	50

If you reach your device limit, Pickscan shows a message with your current plan and device count. To add more devices, upgrade your plan through the Linnworks App Store.
